And the winners of the 2011 Christmas Card Photographic Competition are…..
Back in June, we asked for photographs or art work featuring “The Wendover Arm at Christmas Time”.
After much deliberating, the judges rated two pictures as their joint favourites.
The first photograph of a lone dog on the towpath, was taken by Jennifer Dubois. The second photograph of some swans swimming, was taken by Anne Brooman.
Congratulations to both the winning photographers, and thank you to everyone who entered.
The Christmas cards have now been printed and come in packs of 10, featuring the same picture throughout.
Packs cost £4.95 each. They are available through the following channels:
The Wendover Arm Trust will be having a stall at the Wendover Charity Market, on Saturday 26th November, from 9am to 1pm outside Budgens.
Alternatively, packs of cards can be collected from Jill in Halton or Katherine in Hemel Hempstead. Please phone or email first to arrange a convenient time.
Jill – 01296 624472 sales@wendoverarmtrust.co.uk
Katherine – 01442 246523 membership@wendoverarmtrust.co.uk
Lastly, if you do not live locally, but would like some cards, they can be posted to you for an extra £2.50 per pack. Please contact Jill.

Here are the results from last night’s club 100 draw:

2nd number 42, Mrs Johanna Wheal from Leighton Buzzard won £73.50
3rd number 6, Mrs Doreen Palmer from Aston Clinton won £29.40
There were 147 subscribers in this draw, the most ever, and therefore the biggest prizes ever to be handed out!
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning the January draw, join club 100 today!
Each lucky number costs £15 for one year, which entitles entry into four consecutive draws.
The prize money is roughly half the subscriptions, so the more people who join, the bigger the prizes!
