to “Wendover Arm Trust” to the Trust Membership Secretary at 34 Anchor Lane, Hemel Hempstead, Herts,HP1 1TY. Just send it along with the donation form that you can download here.
If you give £1 in the normal way, the Trust will receive precisely £1. But if you complete the donation form when you give your donation and say you would like to Gift Aid your £1, the Trust will receive £1.25 – in other words increasing the value of your gift by 25%.
This is possible because the Trust can claim back the basic rate income tax that you have already paid. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim a personal benefit – worth 23 pence for every £1 donated. You can either claim this as a personal benefit or choose to give it to charity.
